












Ebike Tour: Discover Bolognesi Mounts & Varignana | Tasting & History (Short Track)
Guided Ebike tour, developed in partnership with Agrivar, aiming to immerse you in the territorial context where the winery resides, in the Bolognese Mounts, creating thus awareness of the environmental and cultural factors that give birth to the terroir that carries the singular conditions at the base of their unique wines. Gaze in awe at the Calanchi Mounts of Abbadessa, a unique landscape with a view to the “Red City”, admire magnificent castles such as the Machiavelli and the Varignana, explore the ancient history of these sites and discover the medieval ruins of the church of Settefonti. To end on a high note, during the wine tasting, savour the flavours and aromas of delicious own-produced specialties such as the excellent olive oil, while pairing these delights with their exquisite wines while being guided by experient somelliers.

12.00 am - Meeting in front of the Winery of Agrivar. Guide presentation, introductory talk, Bike fitting, Ebikes’ test drive and safety briefing
12.30 am - Departure from the meeting point, heading towards the village of San Pietro.
13.00 - Arrival at the village of San Pietro. Pause for storytelling and picture time.
13.30 - Crossing agriculture fields, we’ll enter the city of Ozzano dell’Emilia where we’ll make a fast stop for refreshments, eating a snack or toilets.
14.00 - We’ll step up to our saddles and head directly to Castel dei Britti, taking in stunning views to the Castle Machiavelli.
14.30 - we reach the shady and tranquil gravel road parallel to the torrent Idice and keep cycling until the village of Mercatale. Here, there’s an optional stop at the guide’s discretion (for coffee, refresments and toilet).
14.30 - We restart cycling uphill to reach the ruins of the church of Settefonti, not before stopping to contemplate the Calanchi Mounts.
15.30 - We get to visit the ruins of the church of Settefonti.
16.00 - Continue cycling towards Agrivar, mostly downhill through local secondary roads.
16.30 - Arrival at the winery. Time to say good-bye to the guide and freshen up before the wine tasting.
17.00 - The visit in the cellar starts and subsequently you’ll get to savour the flavors and scents of the winery.
18.30 - The tasting is programmed to end around this time. Of course that you can stay as much as you want until the closure of the venue.

In the event of cancellation of the tour due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled. If participation on the new proposed date is impossible, the amount will be refunded (depending on the payment method, management costs may be withheld)
As long as the cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the start time of the chosen tour, the refund will be granted in full, with management costs relating to the payment method being withheld.
