  • Cycling tour in Italy that starts from the fascinating Siena and heads into its countryside, towards north. Equipped with our comfortable electric bikes, we take the dirt paths of the Francigena Way, which lead us to oak woods, where contact with natural life is not uncommon. Along the way we will reach a well-maintained medieval tower and castle, with a stop for a coffee. We set off again along paths and dirt roads typical of Tuscany to arrive at the Monteriggioni Castle, where we will have some time to explore it and then take a break for a light lunch, tasting the Chianti Colli Senesi. You get back on your bike to go to a fortified abbey which, during the Middle Ages, resided on an island. From here you return to Siena through a lush and dense oak forest where important battles took place in the Second War, famous for its karst characteristics. We return to Siena via asphalt roads.
